Never been here before, called in a to-go order because they had reasonable prices close to my house. Best decision ever! This is a clean, modest restaurant/grocery store set up with a bar. I ordered an all meat burrito that was packed with a variety of meat very flavorful, with just a little kick of spice, perfect! My wife (who is 100% Mexican) ordered a #1 vegetarian combo. She raved on the authenticity of the food, tastes fresh home made. Other local Mexican restaurants are good, but this is the champ. I'll be back for more will be trying other dinners. BTW portion size are very good, couldn't finish my burrito. : Definitely will be back again!
There were very few tables to eat at this restaurant. It is attached to a Mexican market that seemed much busier than the restaurant itself. The margaritas did not have any alcohol in them. I ordered a shrimp burrito that unexpectedly came with mushrooms mixed in with the shrimp. My companion had a T-bone steak, which turned out to not actually be a T-bone. We did enjoy the chips with salsa and refried beans. Overall, we were unimpressed and probably won't be returning as the experience felt lackluster and the food was mediocre.
This restaurant was a great place to eat. My wife ordered the chicken fajitas plate and it was huge, definitely enough to share between two people. I tried the carne asada steak with paprika and although it was a bit tough, the flavor was good. The beans were real beans, not the powdered reconstituted kind, and my wife loved them. The Mexican rice was tasty and the chips and salsa were excellent. Overall, I was not disappointed by this place and will definitely be returning.
The service at this restaurant was terrible. A few wealthy women helped me, acting as if I was bothering them by asking for anything. The customer service was awful, as if they didn't care about doing their job properly. The only exceptions were a kind lady and a boy, as the others did not take good care of me at all. On Wednesdays, you can get $2.99 margaritas at this restaurant! I recommend trying the #17 combo, which includes a steak tostada, steak burrito, and crunchy steak taco. Everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and there is a market full of Mexican delights, condiments, and more.
