The food here stands out from the typical taqueria. The tortillas are richer thanks to the use of beef tallow, and the carne asada has a unique smoky flavor. The tacos come on homemade two-tone corn tortillas, which adds to their appeal. The birria is excellent, boasting great flavor and texture. Even the complimentary chips and salsa bar are impressive and not just your average bagged or canned varieties. The prices reflect the quality of the food, and I believe it's worth it, as this place clearly sets itself apart from other taco spots.
Restaurant is clean. I ordered mesquite-grilled lengua, Baja fish taco, and quesabirria. Blue corn tortillas for tacos are made to order. All were very delicious. A bit disappointed they ran out of duck carnitas. Will have to try next time. Removed a star because I had to keep asking and waiting over 10 minutes to get my beer when it was not busy. Otherwise, the food is solid and servers are kind.
This place is hella good, I visit from Orange county and we have a bunch of Mexican food here which is really good but this one definitely tops my list that I want to come back to sf to eat this! And top of all this, this place is HALAL!!! We usually get a bunch of burrito for me and my family and we enjoy the birria meat the best!!! If you in SF this place a definitely stop by spot.
This restaurant serves truly authentic Mexican food that is halal! It's a cozy little spot located in a Mexican neighborhood in California. We tried the three-birria plate, a steak burrito, and various tacos including steak, ribeye, fish, birria, and chorizo. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent! I highly recommend this place!

Parking: Finding parking in this area of 24th isn't too difficult; just be mindful of the street sweeping rules!
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps or ramps, but there is no automatic door either.
Overpriced for less food than before, menu has completely changed, and the food isn't even good anymore. It's probably good if you want to take pictures for Insta though.
