a group of 11 friends had dinner in this beautiful restaurant. we had booked si the table was carefully set for this big group. there was a formula menu with the addition of a delightful amuse bouche and sorbets. there were 3 choices per curs. and were so diverse that we all sat down. usually not easy to do. I had a Fois-Gras star followed by filled pheasant. the other choices were a derecote or seabass. all were surprisingly served with unique walks. tasty we were served next with two sorbets, one apple and calvados and one camembert. too late august we visited this excellent restaurant at two locations. the quality of the food and its presentation was very high in the did. there were some really wonderful flavors that seemed carefully balanced over each menu. the service in this family-run restaurant was, as you expected, attentive and knowledgeable, without being intrusive. at both nights we were warmly welcomed by the owner. that were very special culinary experiences, the best in this part of france.
Petit hôtel tranquille, géré par un couple anglais sympathique et plein d'humour. La cuisine est en forme d'étoile. Tellement délicieuse que nous n'avons pas cherché un autre restaurant le soir. L'hôtel est situé un peu à l'écart et vous pouvez profiter de la tranquillité rurale. Nous nous y sommes sentis très à l'aise. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent!
