What a lovely little place. We sat outside with our dog. I had quiche Lorraine and the salad was honestly the best I have ever had. My husband had the Full English Breakfast which he said was delicious. Our dog had a doggie sausage. Scone with jam and clotted cream to follow and a piece of coffee and walnut cake to take home. The owner was very attentive, and we hope to find the time to go back before we leave the area. Highly recommended.
We do not usually go to English places to eat whilst in France but for the Vienne tearoom in Chabanais we make an exception.The cafe is really lovely with gorgeous cakes and a very good breakfast/lunch menu as well.I had lasagne,hubby had the full English with a pot of Yorkshire tea.Really well Cooked and beautifully presented.One tip,it is getting so busy now with such a good reputation you need to book.
Visiting our friends Ally and Phil in France they took us to this lovely tearoom, quirky little decorative touches everywhere and love the bird wallpaper in the toilet. Really good food and delicious cake and the host Paul was great and could not do enough for us. If we didn’t live in the UK we would be there very regularly
Another visit to this lovely tearoom and welcomed warmly by our host. Lovely place to sit and chat, eat, while away the day. Food is plentiful, tasty and a great selection, especially cakes. Wishing we'd booked the afternoon tea, seeing it served at at the next table. Next time...
