Samstagabend und ein Kinobesuch in Landau stand an. Ob wir vor oder nach dem Kino Essen gehen war schnell geklärt, ich schlafe lieber im Kino wie beim Essen ein, nur das wohin musste noch geklärt werden. Der erste und zugleich auch letzte Besuch im Laai Kanok lag fast zwei Jahre zurück, Grund genug hier mal wieder einzukehren. Der Anruf am Samstagnachmittag für den gleichen Abend ergab grade noch einen freien Tisch im Nebenraum, schön wenn ein Restaurant auch über zwei Jahre nach der Eröffnung noch immer gut besucht ist, dies spricht schließlich auch für die Qualität. Zu den Räumlichkeiten, dem Ambiente und der Umgebung verweise ich sowohl auf die Kritik von marcO74 wie auch auf meine ei...

I am very satisfied: I had a great dinner (all was very delicious, I said at the end of the meal) and I enjoyed the food because the service was also very good. I choose a curry with spicy Thai-Basilic, marked on the menu as very hot, and I was a little scared. It was perfect for my taste. Then the waitress explained to us that they use European parameters, and if we want to try how spicy they eat, we can ask the next time. They like to prepare their original dishes. Ambiente is also beautiful, regular and not exaggerated. I often go there!
We visited this restaurant on a cold January evening. When we love hot food, we were afraid to wait for our hottest 'judicial order. And it was worth the wait! They were very hot and very delicious! Also the owners are very nice and friendly. They served us more and more rice (free! until our main dishes were over: I would go back there. BTW, the ambience was very Thai!
Animated restaurant and many locals come for Takeaways. Service good and friendly natural family business. The food was very good and very valuable. Something from the city centre, so you won't just happen over everything. You need to book to guarantee in, even early week.
