Lagar - Réservation de table

I usually love the food at this restaurant, but on this day it was not great at all, my husband and I both had the surf and turf. The lobster was pretty good, but the filet mignon was horrible. It was tender but that was about it, no flavor or seasoning at all, I had about 3 bites and left the rest. We had a bottle of white wine which I like it to be very cold and it was at the time it was served. I asked the server to bring an ice bucket and she said she would but never did so the wine got warm by the middle of the meal. We arrived at restaurant and there are so many doors. It was not really clear what was restaurant, bar and possibly banquet area. We finally figured out where to enter, and there was nobody at hostess stand. We wandered further in, and there was a private party breaking up. There was no dining room/ restaurant here. We then tried to cancel the reservation on Open Table, but kept getting an error message. This place is very odd.

I've been to Lagar before and it was OK, but when I heard they were under new management I decided to give another try and i'm so glad I did. Service was exceptional, they were friendly and very knowledgeable, and the food was very fresh and delicious. Great ambient music playing, the restaurant was very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend! Can't wait to go back!

Had a group of 17 people here for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. Despite the fact that I made the reservation less than 48hrs in advance, we were accommodated beautifully. Our waiter was EXTREMELY efficient, attentive and polite. Food was delicious and portion size was plentiful. Réservez une table maintenant

is my second time that I have a reservation because they apply francesinha online on their menu. but we always have to ask the cook if it is available. this time francesinhas 't good enough and also price was much higher then on the online menu!

Went for lunch with my business partners the other day and was pretty impressed with the place. Beautiful ambiance, the waiter was very pleasant and knowledgeable and the food was amazing. Definitely coming back!

The restaurant portion was beautiful. Very attentive wait staff and friendly service. The food was served in generous potions which allows for family style dining. The fried sardines was out of this world!

The food was cold and the steak was overcooked. I wanted to give this restaurant another chance, but it just isn't worth it. It's disappointing that I spent $42 only to end up throwing it away. Réservez une table maintenant

It was a really nice experience , food was outstanding , nice ambience , and very friendly service . Very cozy place for sure . Coming back next month

Private party with DJ blasting music right next to dining room. Very unpleasant. Food was ok but it took too long.
