This place has probably seen better days than what the state is today.Two dead-looking dolls at the entrance, and scruffy old album menu cards already give a run-down feeling.The service was so bad that it was already becoming hilarious. Simple orders were forgotten, everything was asked three times, waiter didn't recognize drinks which he brought, wine was missing until half way main dish and was simply put in the middle of the table without noticing that we were missing the glasses...My aubergine farci was pre-maid and warmed up too little, kids simple pasta came 5min before the tomato saus (which didn't taste home made..?), bread was so dry that it was definitely not freshly cut. We booked this place late in the evening. We thought we might be arriving after the last service for most restaurants so we asked for demi pension. We put our orders in over the phone. We got a three course menu, a musty room and a small breakfast for €130. The starters were quite disappointing(mine was cold and it seemed to have come out of a fridge and then hadn't been heated enough rather than it had been prepared and then gone cold) , the mains and desserts were better but just ok. The room did what was needed but I wouldn't have wanted to stay there any longer than one night with the shower/ toilet being part of the bedroom. Weird set up. We arrived to Zonza today. We decided to eat in this restaurant, cause it looked more cosy and authentic than other restaurants nearby. It was a great choice. Really really nice service. Both gentelman working tonight were very helpful. I ordered a grilled eggplant with local tomato saus and cheese. It was delicious and the portion was big as well. My husband took an option with set menu. A plate of local hams as a starter. The main course was extraordinarly amazing - grilled pork with polenta and figue saus. For the end he got a cheese plate. Overall we hightly recommend this restaurant to everyone that wants to eat a delicious local meal in a very nice cosy atmosphere.
Le restaurant a un décor quelque peu excentrique, mais tout ce qui concerne le service et la nourriture est très bon. Nous avons décidé de partager les châtaignes en entrée et n'avons pas été déçus; les beignets étaient délicieux et moelleux, et l'utilisation de la châtaigne était une bouchée vraiment savoureuse. Nous avons choisi des plats principaux différents avec du saint-pierre et du carré d'agneau; les deux étaient bien présentés, savoureux et copieux. Nous avons pris une miette pour le dessert qui était très bien faite. Il y avait un bon choix de vins pour être raisonnable. Après le dîner, nous avons eu une liqueur de myrte en digestif.

A good spot to have dinner if you find yourself around Zonza. The restaurant is located in the main street of this mountain village and it's a shame that from the restaurant terrace you can't enjoy the astonishing view that can be seen from the main square of the village just a few meters further down the road. However the atmosphere is still very cozy and the service is also very good. Food was nice and prices were average. Recommended.
Nous nous sommes assis ici deux soirs et avons apprécié les différentes options savoureuses des menus. Le choix est très large et la nourriture est bien cuite et très goûteuse. Le vin est d'un bon rapport qualité-prix et le service est agréable. Essayez-le lorsque vous êtes à Zonza.
Wow, quelle trouvaille incroyable !! Vraiment l'un des meilleurs restaurants visités lors de ma visite dans cette région. Le foie gras était l'un des meilleurs de tous les temps ! Les gens qui le dirigeaient étaient très attentifs et passionnés. Quel bel endroit bravo
Changement de cap pour notre endroit préféré à l'auberge de sanglier et nous ne le souhaitons pas. C'était raisonnable, mais ce n'est plus le cas. Les tables étaient collées et alignées près de la route. Rien de spécial dans cet endroit.

Wow, what an amazing find!! Really one of the best restaurants visited in my visit to this area. The foie Gras was one of the best ever! The people running it were so attentive and passionate. What a great place - well done
I had Tagliatelle made with chestnuts, with Panzetta and wild mushrooms - very delicious. ood service and in the heart of town so excellent for people watching.
