Had a very disappointing experience here last night. We’d been wanting to try Lake House for quite some time and finally stopped in around 6:45 yesterday evening. The bar was busy with a few seats still available but the restaurant section was over half empty. We were greeted by a nice gentleman who explained he couldn’t seat us for about the next 15 minutes because the kitchen was backed up. He was very apologetic and polite and we understood so we sat down and waited. He came back to us 15 minutes later saying he checked with the kitchen and they were still many tickets behind so he still couldn’t seat us. My brother and I have been MD residents for about 30yrs. The staff here is great, the food is good and reasonably priced. Not too crowded. You can always get a table or sit at the bar and you won't leave either thirsty or hungry. The dress is casual and the atmosphere is friendly. We have become regulars after trying other places. We always order the breakfast special (bottom of the menu in the middle). The pancakes are particularly good.
I am new to the area and stopped in Lake House a few times. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The food was tasty and we had a great bartender, Heather serving us the coldest beers we have had so far in Florida. She was friendly, welcoming and made sure we were enjoying our time at Lake House. We will be back and hope to see Heather there as well.
If you like good food and prices, and a pub atmosphere this is the place. Employees are friendly and responsive to your needs. We've met the owner a few times and he was very friendly. The tables may be dated but it adds to the ambiance. All of the staff are great, but Pam always makes our day.

My family and I had such a great experience at Lake House the other night. Heather took great care of us. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, and her attitude definitely added to the over all experience. It was our first time here, the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back.
The atmosphere was quite noisy, with multiple TVs showing sports and patrons chatting and cheering loudly. We learned that this was their final weekend until January, as they have sold the business and will be closing for renovations.
We were instructed to seat ourselves outside. After waiting over 20 minutes, I noticed the server passing by multiple times without acknowledging us at all.
Went in. Not 10 people in the place. Say for 13 minutes. Noone even looked our way. Left and spent our money elsewhere.

I absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, and the service was fantastic. I highly recommend it!
Food was excellent. A little noisy but we will definitely go back.
