"Awesome sandwich shop right on the lake! Exactly what we wanted after walking around in Meredith. We were blown away but the high 4.5 rating but it's completely justified. Great selection of sandwiches, salads, etc. and dog friendly outside tables. The server even offered our pup some bacon! Our favorite was the Mount Washington which was roast beef and boursin a classic combo! The fries were also a surprise favorite! Service was quick and seat yourself. Great experience!"

I was presently surprised by this place. We just wanted a good place for lunch on Mother's Day and that's exactly what we got! They had a good selection of choices from cold cut sandwiches with different types of bread to Turkey stuffing sandwiches (gobbler) to Hot Dogs and Hamburgers. The place had ample seating. The table even had a picture of Lake Winnipeaske underneath. Prices were decent to average. And the sandwiches were BIG!! I was expecting a little thing but these things are fillers!! We eat here regularly because the food and views are good, but today we had a bad experience with a rude worker. We parked at the town docks and walked to the nearby grocery store to pick up some drinks for later in the day and then stopped here for lunch. When we placed our order, the person at the counter asked us if we wanted drinks, and when we replied, No, she pointed her finger aggressively to a sign on the counter that said no outside drinks and then proceeded to read it out loud. I hardly ever drink when I eat, and I had no plans to drink anything while I was here. Found this lunch spot through a Yelp search and the sandwiches were terrific. I enjoyed the Becky's Garden Grille special that was overflowing with grilled vegetables. Be prepared for a messy sandwich though, as it was dripping with juices. We were there for lunch on a Wednesday at midday and they were fairly busy. Their system is to order at the counter and then the meals are brought to your table. We had about a 15-minute wait. The quality of the food made it worth it. Also the wait staff was very pleasant to us. The view out to Lake Winnipesaukee was beautiful!
This is the perfect little sandwich shop! Gorgeous views to enjoy the lake. The service was excellent, so warm and friendly. We made our own sandwich with turkey, ham, lettuce, tomato, onion, smoked Gouda with garlic aioli on grilled sourdough. It was so big and delicious, I could only eat half so made for great leftovers. We also had the grilled cheese, also delicious. This is where you want to go after a morning of swimming or kayaking. Or as a stop on the way for your road trips. Super enjoyable. Will be back when I'm in the area!
