Lalibela Ethiopian And Cafe

We were looking out for a lunch other than burger, pizza or fried stuff and we discovered Lalibela, our first time experience with ethiopian food. We had Gored Gored (Rare cured pieces of beef) and a spicy lamb stew, both served with the tasteful Injera Bread. We really enjoyed our meal, the publican even convinced us to eat without cutlery. The room is nicely decorated, very clean, good music, good atmosphere. Why in one star missing? Because we would have liked to finish the delightful lunch with a desert to share. The host told us that deserts are yet to come on his menu. I encourage everybody to try this fantastic place.

My wife and I arrived a little early because I misread the post for the hours. However the young lady let us in and took our order for lunch. She even recommended a dish that would give us the best “tastes” of Ethiopia. The staff did a wonderful job of answering our many questions. The food was excellent. It is a little spicy but if you don’t mind spices, it is great. I don’t mind spices. If you are looking for a new experience with some wonderful memories, go to this place.

We have always had a great experience at Lalibela. The food is very tasty and we go there often. We are always greeted with a smile and amazing service. Outstanding atmosphere and great food! We got the vegetable mix on injura and it was $27 and was practically enough to feed 2 people.
