we often go to breakfast, lunch and dinner, with only us two, with family, and friends. it has one of the best and spacious terraces in the opposite with an unbeatable view of the river, and steps from the old town. sitting out in the summer is a must, but for the bugs! the interieur has a modern, young feeling, but on Saturday evenings they curb the club music where you can hardly hear. there are times when it feels that it wants to be a club rather than a restaurant. the breakfast menu is standard German rate, a bit expensive, but if you like German breakfast, they will be happy. the dinner menu is varied with a mix of German and American food, with some quite delicious pasta as well. our...
if the weather is good, this is not a bad place to sit outside for a drink, beautiful river and city and purposeful. but, service is slow and very casual / unprofessional, the prices are a little high, and eating a disappointment. I had a ham and cheese bag, but without the cheese (I don't eat any cheese and there is little on the unimaginative menu, that has no cheese in it.) what I got was a very dry piece baguette, with two paper thin slices of tasteless and three almost paper thin slices tomato in it. was that my sentence to not ask for a good one? I used to go to the Lama Bar all the time. Its defiantly a place for yonger people I would say. Not that my parents wouldn 't go there but they would just prefer something else. I do like the food but unfortunately in the past...couple years the prices have gone bigger and the portion sizes gone smaller. What I dislike most though, is the service. Like I said I used to go there all the time since it was such an in -spot and so many times the service was just unfriendly or didn 't care. I would get my food and they would never come back to check on me. I even would have to get up and tell them I would like to pay because they just didn 't show up. Very disappointing. My boyfriend and I popped over to Lama Bar after an ice hockey game near this place. The bar was nice and simple and counted with a good selection of cocktails, non-alcoholic drinks and food. Music was pretty good there too. The bar is located...right across Kaufland, under the elevated road. There are parking places available near it.
perfect place to hang out and meet young people. they can have a drink with friends, but the two rooms in the inner are quite loud and it's hard to talk. good selection of cocktails. I also tried this place a few times for lunch, and eating is not bad at all; local looks different with daylight.
The food was good, price ok. annoying was that we didnt get our lunch at the same time so that one eats and the other waits for another 10 minutes. For this we got drinks free. I didnt like the indoor as long as its...used and smells like cigarets becasue its a bar! The bathroom was terrible!
