The food was outstanding and the service was excellent in the beginning, but it declined towards the end (we waited twenty minutes for the dessert menu that was promised to us before finally giving up and just asking for the bill). We both ordered burgers (one chicken and one beef) and they were both excellent. They also had a good variety of gin selections.
The Food was Yummy . The Hosptality was AMAZING The atmosphere ambience created by ALEX who made my partner and two dogs SO welcome in a courtyard with the view of York Minster Many thanks to all at the Lamb and Lion for the most welcoming afternoon. xx

I visit here every time I return to york It is a unique place with great staff and now i have stayed overnight it has unique accommodation
