Landgasthof Linde

Gasthofs in the countryside usually prove a good choice for enjoying uncomplicated traditional food. And Landgasthof Linde makes no exception.I found an imposing house divided in smaller intimate dining rooms - including the Jagerstube, a cozy room for around 20 guests in which I had an enjoyable lunch.Thumbs-up to the waitress (Regine) for her friendly and unobstrusive service throughout the entire meal.The food is Swiss traditional kept simple - no unneeded fluff.As starter I chose the Gourmet lamb's lettuce salad - topped with bacon bits, mushroom and croutons: fresh and well-seasoned. As main course I opted for the marinated lamb filets: tender meat and perfectly cooked, the polenta on the side was delicious. I eventually indulged in a refreshing plums tiramisu as dessert: an original presentation, as it looks (and tastes) like an ice cream rather than a pastry. Prices remain reasonable; including wine and drinks the bill amounted to CHF86.Location is very convenient - a 5-minute walk from the railway station, with hourly connections to Bern and Olten. Furthermore Wynigen is a perfect starting point for hiking in the hilly and scenic Emmental region.

a high time was also at the same time in another room. we thought we had to expect long waiting times. when we head to the large parking lot, there was still enough space for two cars. the table we had reserved stood ready and we would also be served immediately with Apéro’s and with the menu. about ten minutes later we were able to order the food, the salad followed promptly and also later the food. so we had very deceived. the service was first class; four friendly ladies among them the chefin personally changed and there never happened a mistake.About the food there is nothing to mecker, excellent to top. are warned, we are on the land and here are served good portions. Thank you for that, because we had hunger! the prices are in the upper average and for what you get perfectly justified.But there is also a small map!A contemplative ambiente with different halls that bring much rest into the whole (even with a high time) and I can only recommend it.

we had heard a lot of good about the linden. we wanted to test this restaurant ourselves.We had a table reserved for 2 people, were kindly greeted and accompanied to the table. the service should be something more experienced and more courteous (a "can you give me the glass and the teller" by the service to the gast we feel as not so beautiful.) the foods were beautifully dressed, local and just delicious. Although my fries could have been lying in the friteuse for a further 1min longer.The wine card was also detailed, even though it was only available to us inquiries....The full parking space and the well-visited spaces also speak for the company.We would go to dinner again.

excellent eating to reasonable trips, very friendly service, also the little daughter was received friendly (even toys at the table) enough parking available we come back

have been back in the Linde for a long time.Receive cordially and friendly what applies to all employees! the eat excellent and inexpensive.However highly recommended.
