My husband placed a lunch order for me to pick up on Saturday afternoon while I was running errands. He ordered a sandwich, and I opted for the Milano wrap. Since I’m gluten-free, they kindly substituted the traditional wrap with romaine lettuce, which I thought would probably fall apart and turn into a salad (which I wouldn't mind at all). To my surprise, the romaine held together very well, allowing me to enjoy my meal as a wrap. The Milano wrap contains chicken, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and balsamic, and everything was delicious, especially the very fresh mozzarella. I really appreciate the staff at this restaurant. We often order breakfast sandwiches, which are always delicious. Recently, we tried two hero sandwiches: the Boone and the Roast-Rind-melt. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from getting them, but I felt the Boone would have been better if the cutlets had been thinner. They were a bit undercooked as well. Adding a little more Russian dressing would enhance the flavor of the sandwich too. The Bratbeef was slightly dry. I hope you take feedback into consideration; I'm just offering some constructive criticism to help improve the experience.
They really cleaned up their Deli cases and labeled their salads and desserts etc. their customer service is always with a smile and very considerate of your needs during the sale. And their in house baked and cooked foods are on level with any too delis in the area. You always get a Friendly Hello when walking In the door and always a Have a Good Day when leaving. Plain and simple they bust their butts on making it a pleasurable visit Every time my Wife or I go to Landmark Deli. I Hope it remains as it is now. I love the workers here. We get breakfast sandwiches all the time, they are delicious.We just ordered 2 hero’s, the Boone and the Roast beef meltdown. I’m not trying to pick on them but the Boone would have tasted better if the cutlets were thin not so thick. They almost tasted under cooked too. Also maybe a bit more Russian dressing so we can taste it on sandwich.The roast beef was a tad bit on the dry side.I hope you read comments, this is not to pick on you but maybe some constructive criticism is all.

This restaurant is now under new ownership, and the changes are definitely for the better. The staff genuinely care about the customers and are exceptionally friendly. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is very clean. I highly recommend visiting if you're in Sayville—two thumbs up!
I love this place. It's my favorite spot for lunch on the way to Fire Island from Manhattan. Super friendly staff, great food and good prices. I've tried a few places in the area and this beats them hands down. I will keep coming back!
