This place is fantastic! We were in Rothenburg for 2 nights and went to eat here twice. The flammkuchen is great, very tasty, hot, delicious. The schnitzel was great too. The prices are very reasonable and the service was nice. Really want to rave about the salad with pan fried turkey. It was an amazing dish. The veggies were fresh and the dressing was just the right amount and balanced all the flavors very well. This is the kind of place you want to find on vacation. This is probably the best restaurant on our France/Germany vacation.
Delicious good bourgeois food! We had a cream roast and the Franconian sour roast the plates were a little sweetly dressed, but tastefully the food was great. The supplement salad was also very delicious. The service was friendly, though somewhat stressed. It would be more sensible to use someone behind the counter even more to plan out, then take some time when the restaurant is full. There is the possibility to sit outside. You're just sitting right on the street and it's a bit loud. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied!
Actually, 4.5... I had the Roulade there was nothing to expose. Freshly prepared, deliciously filled with roasted onions and mustard and spices. I ordered dumplings instead of late zle, no problem, but unlike the roulettes did not make house. That's why half a star is less. The house is an unrestricted recommendation. The salad just delicious, I tasted at least 3 different sauces. Plus: the otherwise unavoidable Hollandtomate did not exist! Great! Overall a good tip for a good meal! Thanks for that!
A little expensive and the selection is very low. There are about 5 different types of pork roasts, but not really much more. It was good for everyone. The atmosphere is suitable for what is expected in the name of the restaurant. However, the service was very friendly and also nice to my foreign companions, who cannot be as good German.
