Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine University Dr

I love Las Vegas Cuban cuisine. I have visited several of their locations and since the university is Dr in Pembroke Pines near my office, I often order lunch from there. The online ordering process is simple; lunch specialities are great, and my food is always ready for pick-up on time. My only problem is that once in a while food is not as good seasoned as others; perhaps it is not a question of kitchen staff to be properly trained? Today I ordered one of the lunch specialties and the chicken tasted as if it had only pepper. No salt, no adobo, no citrus marinade taste. only black pepper. I still ate it, but I was certainly disappointed. I wish there was no lack of consistency from the kitchen. I'm probably gonna stay away from this court because it didn't happen for the first time. I'll try next time.

Although there is no lack of Cuban food in the city, this family business has grown steadily and is one of the best. I think this can be the original situation, but there are now at least 8 or 9 in the city and everything we have visited is good! The service is always friendly and efficient with more than many portions. You're not going hungry!

Wasn't here in a few years, my husband said that grilled fish was good, so we ordered and picked up. My shredded chicken was so dry that it was unbeatable. Rice bean-key. My husband fish was good, but don't think I'll be back soon.

We had the nicest server, Maria...she recommended we have the sampler platter so that we could try a little bit of different dishes. It was delicious! We also had cortadito and dessert, amazing!

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Wonderful family restaurant.
