L'auberge De Thelis

Exactly what we wanted, to wind down after a strenuous time at a music festival in Provence. Beautiful green countryside, with hills and fields and isolated farms, excellent for cycling and walking. Rooms: The rooms were beautiful, a great adaptation of an old building into a modern one. We could have done with more places on which to dump our stuff tables, chairs, shelves but can see this would have detracted from the minimalist decor. Walkability: There were countless places to walk tracks, paths, roads, fields all most attractive, and very close at hand. Then, slightly more distant, the lauded goals of the Mont du Pilat.

We spent 4 nights with half board. Pleasant, quiet and welcoming hostel. Excellent breakfast. In addition, the innkeeper is a fine cook. Good value for money. A.G.
