If you love a craft cocktail this is the place for you!! They have different specials and I tried about three of them. I really enjoyed the grounds for divorce coffee drink that will be discontinuing shortly. So If you are reading this.....it maybe too late. The first time I went I sat at the bar and I believe my bartender's name started with a B. He was great! All his recommendations were spot on. I really appreciate the decor and the loud music at this restaurant. It has a great location in Birdtown. The menu appears to change often, and it seems a bit larger than the last time I visited. I noticed there are more staff than customers, which means they spend a lot of time chatting and having a good time instead of serving. Unfortunately, they can't box up your leftovers. The service here has been consistently poor, giving off a vibe that feels a bit exclusive, as if you don't quite fit in. We arrived during happy hour, which runs from 4 to 7 PM on weekdays, and enjoyed a $10 cocktail. The happy hour also features some affordable food options. I tried the Hellhound cocktail and was impressed; you really can’t beat a $10 drink. The space isn't very large, so we had to wait a bit for a table, but they offer a bar rail where you can order drinks while waiting. All the staff were incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. We also indulged in the margherita fries, which made for a delicious snack. Overall, it’s a fantastic little neighborhood bar! If I lived nearby, I can definitely see myself wanting to come here all the time.
Gooooooo here!!! Got the fried pork rinds and my 1st Tom Collins to start off. The rinds were still crackling when they came out and were seasoned to perfection, and the cocktail was amazing. Backed that up with an Old Fashioned and a burger that was just delivered to them from one of their local sources 10 minutes prior to ordering. They killed it on the old fashioned, and my taste buds threw a party when the burger hit my pallet. Hands down one of the top 5 best burgers I've I've experienced throughout my vast travels. I visited this place with my nephew for a relaxing evening, and it exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere was fantastic. I tried the burger along with a few bourbon varieties, all of which were excellent. The staff was great, and the bartender was experimenting with some unique concoctions, which was a fun treat to sample. If there were an option for a sixth star, I would definitely give it to the team. I look forward to returning the next time I'm in the area. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
Came here in a whim. So glad I did. The music is not my taste, but the food s decent and the mixology is crazy good. So many great options that are off the neaten path. I had the margarita fries, some new ciders I hadn't tried, and the LOT FPU was... wow! The decor is different, the staff is super kind and friendly. The shelves: I just cannot believe the diverse alcohol selection there. It blew my mind. The marble races on TV? Seriously. Don't ask. Just go. Enjoy.
This restaurant has been one of the top spots in the city since it opened. The food is fantastic, with a rotating menu that features various styles. They also serve some of the best cocktails around, and the staff is really friendly and cool. I highly recommend trying The Gunslinger and whatever poutine they offer at the moment.
