We went here for dinner and on arrival they took a while finding us a table even though there were plenty of spare ones (it was later in the evening). They then took ages to take our order and there was a long wait for the food. Eventually when it arrived, my husband was given something he hadn't ordered. When he raised this, the waitress said she realised it was a mistake but didn't apologise. We had another long wait for the correct meal but the waitress then neglected to bring the wine or any cutlery! Un déjeuner assez décevant. Le service était prétentieux. Le maquereau de ma femme était trop cuit. Mon Filet de St Pierre était assez fade. À quel point était-il frais ?? C'était le menu à 20,50 € avec entrée plat, avec un supplément de 4,00 € pour le Saint Pierre John Dory. Vu le rapport qualité/prix, c'était assez cher. Il y a beaucoup d'autres restaurants dans la région qui offrent un bien meilleur rapport qualité-prix. Essayez Le Quai en face du port à La Trinité. Même gamme de prix mais toujours meilleur.
Bien que La Trinité ait grandement souffert de cette atmosphère de fin de saison, ce restaurant semble offrir stabilité et qualité. Emplacement, décoration intérieure, accueil, service, rapport qualité/prix, nourriture, etc. Seul détail : nous avons trouvé qu'il faisait chaud dans le restaurant, donc nous étions contents que la fenêtre soit ouverte. Mais la serveuse/dame de la maison l'a refermée car elle a dit qu'il faisait plutôt frais. Elle a probablement toujours raison...
We had an excellent dinner selected from the menu d' jour. The sardine rilletes centre followed by the whole mackerel with blanc beurre sauce, saffron potatoes and a delicious onion ratatouille were really good as were our desserts. Nice decking area overlooking the harbour and prompt service, helped by the fact that the waiter spoke good English. Our meal for two with a bottle of wine was an extremely reasonable 70 euro. No hesitation in recommending.

So many restaurants in this area specialise in seafood that it's difficult to find one that does meat well. Our host recommended Bistrot du Marin as a good place for steak so we both ordered entrecôte frites. They were served with a few lettuce leaves, half a cherry tomato each, a mound of frites and a small pot of béarnaise sauce dry at the edges. Our steaks were average, mine a bit stringy and chewy. Maybe they are better with seafood.
Good solid fare which was served relatively quickly and with good humour. Near the marina so convenient. There are other places to eat in Trinite that repay a bit more exploration but you would not go wrong if you stumbled into Le Bistro du Marin
Nous avons adoré Le Bistrot du Marin, le personnel très sympathique avec une excellente carte des vins. Nous nous sommes assis dehors avec une vue très agréable sur la marina, allez y et profitez-en.
Dinner with friends and family. Sat outside on the terrace with it wonderful views of the harbour and the bridge. Meal was good and service was friendly and efficient
