Many years ago I drove around La presqu'île de Quiberon and couldn’t find anywhere to park, and I was determined to return one day. Being early in the year, we did manage to park at Port Maria and there was an air of excitement and busyness about the town as it prepared for Easter and the summer season. Many of the restaurants seemed to be a bit impersonal, but we finally came to the Bistrot du Port which was much more welcoming. The menu catered for all tastes, but it was not so extensive as to make you wonder how one person could do so much.
