Le Bouchon - Réserver une table

We were unsatisfied about our visit at this restaurant. At ordering they proposed us the "plat du jour" which was lamb ribs with vegtables. It was plate. no first course neither dessert When we received the bill we were highly surprised to...paid for that plate. A "plat du jour" is in average for that region Maybe a little our fault because the price was not mentioned on the menu neither on cardboards hanging on the walls. After a discussion with the owner he recognised that this plate needed to be announced as the speciality of the day and not "plat du jour". But …. we didn't receive any compensation for this. We feld very unrepectfully treated. It was a very attitude of "on s'en fou we don't care)

Enjoyed a meal here as a party of adults and children. Lovely location in the square in Aigueze. Great selection of tapas, meat and fish, and superb poke bowls. The children’s menu was fish and chips or chicken nuggets. Both went down...well with the children. Desserts were fantastic, lots of different ice cream flavours and the desserts of the day were wonderful. Tiramisu and Mille Feuille in particular. Staff very friendly. Only reason it’s not a star is the mistake with the drinks order wrong drinks and forgotten).

We decided to have lunch in this restaurant in consideration of all positives comments received. I was greatly disapointed non only by the products used (frozen fish, salad non fresh, terrible fish and chips) but also by the terrible service received. The comments and aswered...to our questions were abolutely inappropriate and unprofessional. Just read their comments on all trip advisor comments is a proof of their arrogance! when you pretend to be the best, have some humility to question yourself …. good luck!

We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant, and enjoyed both the friendly service and delicious food. The outside seating on the village square is lovely, but the inner courtyard and inside also looked very nice. We will be back next time!

There is indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor being on a square. Really nice atmosphere, the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a fair selection of dishes and the food was well presented and tasty.
