We were meeting up with friends to celebrate a birthday, so obviously we had a great time. The restaurant part of a non chain hotel was well laid out, light and airy. The menu offered some great dishes and the wine list was comprehensive....The Michelin star gave us confidence we had nothing to fear as far as the food and drink were concerned. And the Guide Michelin as so often was correct. We had two excellent bottles of wine and the food was well prepared and looked great, if not absolutely wonderful. What we noticed, though, was that the service was perfunctory, even distant. No smiles, no 'how was that? '; and when I stupidly broke a glass before the meal started, the major part was remo...
Nous avons été accueillis avec amabilité. La chambre junior suite était propre, grande et avec une belle salle de bain. Nous avons dîné au restaurant et avons commandé le menu cher. Le service était inexistant et la nourriture était simplement posée sur la table sans explication... Les verres de vin n'ont pas été remplis. La nourriture était moyenne et ne correspondait pas à ce que l'on attend en 2017, lors d'une visite précédente, et le prix était trop élevé par rapport à la qualité.
this is a very nice restaurant with high quality fresh food and fine service. we had the menu “Côté mer” and all dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. there is a good weinlist and sommelier and all the server really...new their craft. the room is bright and not overcrowded. if they like the whole French dining experience, they will love this restaurant. highly recommended!
in a beautiful building in the middle of this beautiful city our dinner at le cheval blanc was fantastic. excellent service, a lively atmosphere and delicious food. we chose the 38 € fish menu that was brilliantly executed: makrele followed by sea bass and amazing...Puddings a really wonderful evening.
