Le Comptoir Brasserie Pizza

We work in Carnac and discovered this restaurant last year. We really enjoyed it but wanted to try a few different dishes before we made a review. I am delighted to say that after eating there several times and trying various dishes we have not...been disappointed. The restaurant is modern in style with very friendly and efficient staff who are more than happy to speak English if you struggle with French. The menu is very varied and even when the restaurant was busy and we were with several friends we didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive, I would recommend the lamb it was delicious and came served with oven roasted new potatoes and mixed vegetables. This restaurant offers a wide range of food, at fair prices. The prix fixe menus are excellent, and there are dishes of the day not on a blackboard, but on a screen, complete with illustrations. Dishes are substantial and tasty, although it is not fancy...cooking. Desserts were wonderful. It is set in a business park, so the terrace (on the road) is not very appealing: but tables inside are widely spaced and it is attractive. The staff are very helpful we found the slim waiter with the dark beard to be particularly so. There is a discount if you are staying at the nearby hotel. Recommended.

Il faut certes faire un peu abstraction du cadre (zone commerciale) et de l'ambiance légèrement trop sonore mais on a sera sûr de bien manger, une cuisine de bistrot, au bon sens du terme, simple, copieuse et savoureuse pour un prix très modéré (menu 3 plats à 16,90 avec nombreux plats au choix ). Serveurs et - veuses sympathiques et rapides. Bien meilleur rapport qualité prix que dans les restaurants situés dans les parties plus touristiques d'Auray. Mais , lorsque l'on veut bien manger et, surtout, à sa faim, il faut parfois sacrifier-un peu- le décor.

We ate here weeks ago. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly, and very attentive. Several menu options are available, we opted for the one. The starter was copius, a salad with goats cheese and toast. The main meal, i chose a cabonara, which...was delicious. Dessert was chocolate mousse. The restaurant offers good quality

Only visited here because the Kyriad restaurant was closed on a Sunday fantastic pizza and grimbergen beer blanche served with a slice of lemon.
