We visited as a family of four, we were staying in the yourte campsite just next door (beautiful!) We have 2 small children, 4 and 2, so eating out is never particularly easy but it was our last night in France before catching the ferry the next day. I thought that it seemed like a nice quirky place and the food was pretty nice but it was quite pricey, and nothing suitable for kids that young. Some Chef's live to cook and create.In this Restaurant on my way back from Driving through Spain to get to the boat in Roscoff. I was one day early so there is a campsite next to it and I decided to stop of and stay the night. It was my last day in France and to celebrate my last day I choose to eat in Johnnies place. As I ordered the meal I noted that all of the people in the place where French. good sign when the local's think highly of your food. To my great surprise the food was melt in your mouth gorgeous. with the help of one or two glasses of wine I polished of not only the main, but starters, main and one piece of cake. This is a fantastic must-visit spot. We were staying nearby in Carentec & had spotted the bicycles with onions outside as a photo-opportunity. Didn't realise it was a restaurant till we pulled in to take pictures. It's a slow food restaurant and farm-shop. Features lots of local producers. We'd a delicious meal there, the menu is limited but anything we had was excellent. The kids loved the House Special Burger. Highly recommend this place, nice views from verandah area out onto the bay. Bring an empty shopping bag, lots of produce to buy in the on-site deli/shop.
Nous avons séjourné à Mer et Yourtes donc c'était fantastique de trouver ce restaurant juste à côté! Nous avons tous apprécié les repas, mon fils a pris un burger, mon mari a eu un tagine de poulet (attention, il est sorti absolument bouillant!) et j'ai pris la grillade mixte, qui était correcte. Le personnel était très sympathique et la décoration était agréable. C'est très populaire et il est préférable de réserver une table.
We stayed at Mer et Yourtes so it was fantastic to find this restaurant just next door! We all enjoyed the meals, my son had a burger, husband had chicken tagine (beware, this came out absolutely boiling hot!) and I had the mixed grill, which was ok. The staff were very nice and the decor. It is very popular and it is best to book a table.
Nous avons adoré cet endroit ! En plus de surplomber la baie, la nourriture provient de tous les producteurs locaux des environs. C'est frais et délicieux. Le service était très décontracté et amical. Et le choix de musique était super. Nous reviendrons certainement à chaque fois que nous rendrons visite à notre famille ! Merci !
Nourriture et ambiance absolument géniales. Nous avons mangé des artichauts locaux et c'était délicieux, le serveur nous a même expliqué comment le manger ! Le burger Killer était super et le tajine d'agneau était vraiment savoureux ! Recommandation massive si vous êtes à proximité de la région !!
Loved this restaurant. A small but varied menu in a quirky setting. We found the staff helpful and the food delicious. Tried to get in once when passing but no tables available so booked for our last holiday meal and so glad we did. Great views, ambiance and, of course, food.
