I'll keep this review short and sweet: we visited as a party of four for a celebration. Booking a table was a bit difficult because the lady on the phone barely spoke any English or German (which also made it a bit difficult to order)....It's a rather small restaurant but the decoration is very nice, friendly and warm. The food was served quickly and tasted delicious! In regards to starters we especially loved the pancakes which are very small (not like American pancakes or French crêpes, if one were to expect this). The mains were served quickly as well and tasted oh so good! However, I feel obliged to note that some of us ordered duck and expected it to be crunchy, like at many Chinese restaurants but here the duck was drowned in sauce as someone pointed out. I don't know if this is the norm for Vietnamese food, I just want to mention this to help avoid disappointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we only had language barrier issues with the lady.
We were not familiar with Vietnamese food, and Le Cyclo was a pleasant surprise. The meal was delicious, and the service friendly. The price was reasonable. Location is just outside of the city center. Only negative point was the smell of the toilet every time...the door was opened.
Found this spontaneously while visiting Speyer. It was packed, but they managed to squeeze us in an hour later. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was very friendly. We even got extra fresh chillies twice as we love spicy food Would...go again any time!
