We were a family of 4 daughters aged 19 and 21 and were recommended this restaurant as a place for good food , good wine in a lovely setting and favoured by locals . We were not disappointed. Lunch was reserved for 1.00pm and when we arrived the restaurant was full . We had asked for a table on the terrace and sure enough it was waiting for us , all other tables were full . The clientele were all French , a mixture of families , couples and one lady celebrating her 75th birthday with family and friends. The waiters don't speak much English and we are certainly not fluent with our French but with a few gestures and help from friendly other diners we managed to take full advantage of the variety of choices on offer . We went for the 30 Euro menu and all three courses were delicious. A bottle of good wine 35 euros , aperitifs and coffee to finish came to a total of 190 euros . One word of advice don't be in a rush to eat . Service was on the slow side but overlooking woodland and a stream and with a lovely warm atmosphere in the restaurant we were quite content to go with the flow . A really good experience.
this is a very pretty restaurant in a delightful setting by a Water Mill and river. We had a brilliant meal which I felt was worthy of a Michellin Star* When I say local , this is a suberb of Bordeaux so might well be known well beyond it 's location, given the quality of the food here. Definetely worth a visit. Only thing, I notice other reviews refer to Sunday Lunch and when we enquired they saud they closed Sundays...?
We went with our son for a nice dinner and were not disappointed. Warm welcome and a very helpful waiter. Quality of the food excellent. The menu although is limited. We have now visited most of the Gradignan restaurants but Domaine des Tentations beats them all. Wine list is mostly covering the Gironde area. Service quick and discrete. We will go back.
25 of us sat down to enjoy lunch on the day before my son's wedding. We had all preordered so I was somewhat surprised when some people did not get what they ordered because the restaurant ran out. Apart from that the food was good, however, I could not describe it as fine dining. We all enjoyed a happy meal on the terrace.
