Eating only poultry, several people recommended that I try the chicken burgers at Double R, which is the benchmark for burgers in Yverdon. Quite popular, being that the place is small. You absolutely have to book! First problem, our reservation for 5 people was not recorded. (We had booked a week in advance . The waiter found a solution and moved us to a table where there were already 3 people… let’s move on… 2nd problem, the menu card and a completely torn, greasy and sticky old paper. Honestly, I hoped that the cuisine wasn't up to par... 3rd problem, I order my famous chicken burger which is so recommended and there, the pompom, the waiter tells me that they don't make chicken burgers......
what a cool place. it's tiny. we are almost over! and this is part of its charm! super friendly service, cool music and decor. I loved it, and that's before we came to our burgers! the sauces are unbeatable. I had the spicy and the man who was best sold. we had to have seconds! I just think we're leaving yverdon and doublebrs burger tomorrow, for whom we know how long we've been hungry for seconds. that was a first for both of us. more impermissible stop when in yverdon!
Hands down the best burgers you can eat in Switzerland (I would say in Europe, but that may be a lie). Each month they have a special burger recipe, which you should try at least once. Beware of allergies as the burgers are with a lot of sauce, made mostly with mayonnaise. Prices are a bit on the high side, as fries are not included. Book in advance as the place is small. The Mig Bach burger is my personal favorite.

The restaurant was very good though PLEASE NOTE: in the VEGETARIAN burger there is PEANUT butter and it is not mentioned, it cost me a day in the emergency room because of an allergy
