Very friendly reception on arrival and very attentive but not pushy service. The menu, though not massive, has a very good variety of dishes. For dinner it is all a la carte and we picked a main course (mushrooms on pieces of baguette with a cheese sauce) to share as a starter, which was superb, followed by charbonnade of beef; a huge portion of deliciously tender meat and fresh vegetables that are all cooked on the charcoal burner at the table. Too full for dessert after all that! The wine list is very well chosen - we had a Vacqueryas which was nicely rounded and smooth and very well priced at €25. The ambiance of the restaurant is rustic charm with modern decor that works very well. This is the first restaurant in Bonneville to offer a more interesting variety of dishes and to be open full-time in the evenings. Recommend it fully and they deserve every success with the new (2.5 months old) venture.
