My husband and I literally just dropped into this restaurant because we needed a place to eat when we arrived in Cassis and the beachfront location was irresistible. Even though it is a beachfront restaurant, the prices are pretty steep and there are nice white...tablecloths on the tables. I decided to go all out and order a serious lunch consisting of linguine with clams. What an incredible surprise! It was the best linguine with clam dish I’ve had in recent memory. Much better than all the other ones I had in Italy. My husband’s giant prawns grilled with garlic and parsley tidbits was also impressive and delicious. It is great to go with kids because of the beach chairs and parasols (specially in July-August where temperatures reach The service is great and you have drinks and snacks available all day. We also...had lunch in the restaurant and the food was great with an excellent kid´s menu also. Another great thing (apart from the fact that is it by the beach ) is that you have the port right next to it so you can go on the Calanques boat tour for example and leave your things there (not valuables like in any beach) and then just come back and continue to use all the services. Highly recommend it but reserve in advance because there aren´t that many chairs...
C'était ma deuxième visite dans ce restaurant préféré. Un coucher de soleil rosé avec un menu à prix fixe remarquablement modeste. Et un service attentif. Les moules provençales étaient les meilleures que j'ai jamais mangées, et le poisson ne pouvait pas être plus frais. Ah oui, et puis il y a... la magnifique vue sur l'océan et la brise du soir. Complètement tranquille, charmant, avec une excellente cuisine.
We went here for lunch as our guide for the day made us a reservation. We took the advise of our waiter and had the mussels, Goat cheese salad, and the local, fresh, salt encrusted fish. The food was amazing! The service was great. These...were the BEST mussels I have ever had and the fish was really incredible! It was also very nice to sit on the balcony on the beach.......it made for a perfect afternoon!

Un endroit parfait juste sur la plage de Cassis. Une table en terrasse ombragée. Ciel clair et température parfaite. Nous nous sommes installés pour savourer plusieurs heures pendant que nous dînions. Des fruits de mer excellents. Un service attentif et amical. De bons vins. Que demander de plus vraiment? Une journée à Cassis?... Seul choix pour le déjeuner Le Grand Large.
Booked this via Trip-adviser and table had been reserved at the front overlooking the beach. Service was fine. Food was very good I had the lamb chops and the profiteroles (which are a favourite and they were very good). Overall, nice evening in a...good restaurant.
Nice Mediterranean food (fish soup, sea bam). Good preparation. But poor service all in all. The waiter first accepted to serve drinks after the meal than told us, quite angrily, it wasn’t a bar. This changed our overall feeling
Not reviewing the main restaurant, but we did use the beach beds and parasols for four days during our stay. Friendly staff who bring you drinks, snacks, etc. Makes you feel lazy and decadent, in a good way.

Expected a better food experience at the restaurant considering their high end profile. Ordered An overpriced fish soup that completely ruined my trip to beautiful cassis. No value for money.
Super emplacement. Grand restaurant en bord de mer. La nourriture est délicieuse. Les fruits de mer étaient très bons. Bonne sélection de vins locaux. Recommandé.
