Le Hoang Vietnamese Restaurant

this is a nice little restaurant upstairs with friendly and obliging staff. Generous portions of food however not authentic Vietnamese. more like Chinese we thought. prices were reasonable .. OK but could be better. The battered items were "dirty" like the oil was old.. not very appetising to look at (squid and banana fritters). with a few changes like rice paper rolls instead of spring rolls, clean noodles without the sweet sauces would be more like we have enjoyed in Vietnam.

We have been coming to this family owned restaurant for many years and have never been disappointed. Upstairs its a bit of a struggle for oldies but its worth it ,Food is fresh and cooked well the staff always make you feel welcome .We have had dinner here with friends and our family group always happy to return . Caters well for large groups .Wine list is not large but good .The decor is plain but its a place to come and eat and enjoy yourself .

I ordered seafood combination with stir fry veggies and I got a soggy muck with with sauce. My partner ordered chicken stir fry with veggies and also had a soggy muck loaded with sauce. We did not eat it and demanded our monies back. Absolute pig food to a tee We will never go back there.

Having been to Vietnam now this is now to me the westernised version of Vietnamese food. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The food is good but obviously toned down for the bland australian palate. Still tasty, but not the vietnamese food i've had outside of vietnam. Réservez une table maintenant

Had a family dinner 2 adults 2 kids. Staff where really friendly and helpful, especially when ordering a plain meal for my daughter. Food was tasty and plenty of it. Left with a food baby. Great value.

With the massive range of delicious Vietnamese food available in Richmond, Springvale and other places, why bother with this one... like something out of a 70s Chinese takeaway.

Needs a hefty renovation & the food can be up & down but generally good for the money - BYO & friendly service make it a must try....

The restauraunt was jam packed. A great and fair turnover. The food was average and the staff were good. Recommended for kids.
