Only open lunchtimes and we have always tried to go for the evening, finally for my birthday last year my husband took me there for lunch and my goodness it was worth the wait. It was the lightest pastry topping I have ever had. The cost of the daily lunch was really good but of course I made the most of it that day and pushed the price up for us!!! A lovely setting for a wedding or the like as it is by the canal.
Le lieu est sympathique, l'entrée dispose d'un bar calme, la décoration est dans le goût du moment, la grande salle est bien éclairée mais pas tamisé ensuite il y'a une terrasse qui donne vue sur le canal de Nantes à Brest un petit moment de détente. Le menu du midi est de 19 euros avec à chaque fois trois entrée, trois plats, trois dessert. Différents choix, les serveuses accueillantes et conviviales.
We found this restaurant by accident! Beautiful setting and panoramic view from restaurant. We had the menu of the day and was not disappointed! Quick efficient service and food was delicious. Very popular with the locals! This restaurant was only open lunchtimes and unfortunately closed on Saturday, where we hoped we could have had a meal before returning on Brittany Ferries!
The large dining room overlooks the Nantes-Brest canal so try to get a table by the window. The restaurant itself is rather lacking in ambiance, but the menu (lunchtime only) is okay and the food is good value for money. Worth a visit, but probably not for a special occasion.
