Set in the wooded centre of Corsica with stunning views and walks in the area. I have visited this restaurant many times. It has an enormous wood fired pizza oven (evenings only) the Calzone is my favourite. It has a range of local specialities including...the famous Corsican fromage charcuterie and does superb entrecôte steaks. Good Corsican wines and spirits. It only takes plastic in the high season so you may need Euros or a cheque from a French bank account. Off season (Oct to Apr) the open times are restricted.

We were driving and stopped for lunch, we chose the meal of the day, excellent value: local charcuterie, sanglier and desert. All was excellent, the staff were helpful and we even bought some charcuterie to bring home. A great place to stop and sample the...real Corsica.

If you are driving through the center of Corsica, it is difficult to find a place for lunch. We just stopped here, friendly service, good (local) food, reasonable prices, terrace at the back in the sun.

Good honest local food, nice and attentive staff in a remote village of Alta Rocca. A favorite of bike riders and tourists.

Food was drenched in sauce, and staff was gruff with us.
