Le Pas De Chat Cafe

Lovely family run restaurant in the heart of rural Dourdogne. Vincent and Gwyn make a very special experience with superb food which is very affordable. Really enjoyed the ambience with rustic touches and Gwyn's artwork decorating the walls. Service was fabulous, everyone speaks English and is very welcoming. The menu changes every day, and everything was tasty. I had the porc for lunch and the creme brulee for dessert, both were perfect. Also- Villars is a charming little town and should visit the nearby Chateau de Puyguilhem if you make the trip, where Gwyn teaches art classes for children (and their parents) some afternoons. Highly recommend!

We went for a family meal on the last day of our holiday. The restaurant was so welcoming, very friendly and could not do enough for us. Delicious food, wonderful cocktails and beautiful ambience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The service was charming in spite of a very full restaurant. The food was tasty and well presented. We’d go back next time we are in the area. A good recommendation for lunch.

Five out of five. Real family host table. Small room with 20 25 seats. Short menu that changes everyday. Charming service
