"This restaurant is only minutes away but it was the first time we've eaten there. It's simply but nicely decorated and was warm and welcoming on a very cold and foggy New Years eve. The staff were very good which really made the event...go well. The food was super, good quality, well cooked and well presented. We had a super evening with our friends and were the last to leave! The cost for a new year's eve meal was extremely reasonable. I will go back there for sure."

Après un changement de direction début décembre, nous avons décidé de consulter le menu le soir du Nouvel An. Mis à part quelques changements mineurs dans la décoration, vous êtes toujours accueilli dans une atmosphère chaleureuse et amicale, ce qui est essentiel surtout par une soirée froide et humide. Le personnel pour la soirée était efficace et très attentif aux besoins de tous les clients, qui étaient au nombre de quelques-uns ce soir-là. Le menu pour la soirée se composait de sept plats qui étaient tous excellents tant en qualité, en présentation qu'en format. L'ambiance était encore meilleure car il y avait un bon timing entre chaque plat, et le chef est venu à chaque table une fois p...
This was our third time and again were not disappointed. Very close to our home we consider ourselves to be very fortunate to have such a exceptionally high quality food restaurant close by. A husband and wife team, they take very good care of their...clients with a clean, well presented restaurant, and offer that little bit extra to ensure your visit is pleasurable. The menu we had is set at euro's with a supplement for the entrecote steak which again is worth the extra and cooked to perfection. The wine list is reasonable, which adds to the enjoyment even more. We recommend that anyone visiting this reasonably quiet area of France add this to their itinerary.
We booked for a lunch on a Friday in August and had no trouble getting a table for two. The restaurant was empty but the terrace was almost full and we were shown to our table the owner was serving and her husband was...in the kitchen! She took great care to ensure we were happy with the shade provided by the parasols it was a very hot sunny day! The menu is simple but very well presented. The entrecote steak was very good. The ambience was excellent on the terrace and the service was informal, efficient and friendly. I would recommend this to people visiting the area.
There is an exceptionally high level of quality in that off the track gem. The building is freshly restored and brand new. The delight is in the plate, the presentation, the wines are good and the bill is more than fair. The area offer some.. budget restaurants from Cluny, Charolles, Montchanin and Montceau at a way more simple level of cooking, some certain lack of pure service, in cheesy atmospheres. Le pre vert is on another level for an equivalent price or a few Euros more on the bill compare to some other establishments. There is eating pleasure in that place.
