Le Patio - Réservation de table

Dans un magnifique village de La Roque Gageac, non loin de la Dordogne sur la route principale, nous avons décidé de faire une halte dans ce restaurant. Étant donné que c'est un endroit un peu touristique, nous pensions que nous serions bien en mangeant ici. En montant des escaliers, nous sommes arrivés dans une zone couverte offrant une protection légère contre le soleil et la pluie, l'intérieur étant très en pierre. Nous avons choisi une salade italienne et des bruschettas. Lorsque la nourriture est arrivée, nous avons trouvé cela agréable, les dames étant servies en premier. OK the end of September on a Monday evening is probably not the best time to try out an unknown restaurant, but the reviews generally suggested it was worth a try. When we arrived there were only 2 other couples there whereas other restaurants nearby...were busy, we should have gone back down the stairs. There was no atmosphere, a little background music would have helped. The food was nothing special, my foie gras consisted of just one small slice of the pate with a couple of pieces of cold limp toast, the duck brochette was nicely cooked if a little tough, the coq au vin was napalm like, having clearly spent too long being reheated in the microwave. we had a very nice dinner here tonight. we stumbled over the restaurant and went mainly because we saw others go in! we were not disappointed. beautiful restaurant with terrace with a good view of the cliffs and rocks. excellent food we all enjoyed, but. the things that made it even better were the personal and general atmosphere. the personal was really friendly and was great with our children. it was a really pleasant evening. we managed to get a table, but others were turned away when it was quickly filled up. I would recommend a booking if they could.

Je suis entré pour quelque chose de rapide..... le personnel était fabuleux, si amical, serviable et agréable. J'ai opté pour un cheeseburger.... ET C'ÉTAIT DÉLICIEUX... servi avec des frites et de la mayonnaise (que je ne mange pas, mais j'ai fait une exception cette fois) c'était fait maison.... Ensuite, j'ai pris un tiramisu, onctueux et moelleux au... fond bien que peu parfumé au café, c'était DÉLICIEUX.. L'endroit lui-même est situé sous la paroi rocheuse et a une atmosphère confortable et charmante... Je reviendrai certainement... Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent service, great food. Not much more to say. They catered for our pushchair and served us very well providing complimentary water, drinks, bruschetta and salad. Good value for money as the potion sizes were very big, very busy and didn't have to wait long...for food at all. Would highly recommend!!!! Staff very welcoming and helpful! Well covered patio area from the hot hot hot sun.

delicious food and varied menu, something for everyone. we had the court of the day, that was bark meat carpaccio with rocket, oil olive and parmesan and it was delicious (served with frit). desserts were amazing. we shared a panacotta with a beautiful bright. Strawberry sauce and a chocolate brew with salted carmel sauce and looked. beautiful atmosphere and the staff were beautiful!

dinner here with the children (13 and 10) the menu is not extensive, but there was something for everyone who was a miracle, as our children can be quite fussy! portions were generous, bruschetta was delicious and prices appropriate for an important tourist destination...in summer. the staff was very efficient, friendly and accommodating. we would definitely return.

We stumbled across this restaurant for lunch and came back a few days later for supper. The food has been lovely both times...attractive, tasty and a good selection. The location is cool and shady, a nice spot to take a break. We will come back! Réservez une table maintenant

Service bon et personnel très attentionné. Bon choix de plats pour un petit restaurant et bien présenté. Dans l'ensemble, un déjeuner très agréable.
