Ok… this is a long review.. Short version: great food, great people, great atmosphere, and sometimes a longer wait, but always worth it. Long version: so I have been coming here since 2017, and we are always so excited to come and enjoy the food and atmosphere.. my wife and I will always come here when we are in Detroit. It’s fun to see how they have done little things to the place over the years. The service is always friendly, and the food is the best in Michigan. This is not fast food and therefore you will probably wait, but if you have the time, you will not regret eating here.
This was my first and last time dining at this restaurant. The servers were 10 years old and there were no adult servers available. They provided plastic utensils for drinks and eating. A 25% gratuity was automatically added to the bill and the service was terrible. They were even out of orange juice. Despite arriving at 12:30, we weren't served until 2:10. I would give the food a C+ rating. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Parking was also a challenge with limited spots available in front and across the street.
Made reservations for Father’s day. We were seated within 5mins. However, it took over an hour to receive our food. They served a family style menu for Father’s day. This was structured by $30per person, choose 6 items and the items were shareable. Our family spent $90 and we didn’t feel it was enough food, we were still hungry after leaving ?. The establishment was VERY hot inside. We didn’t feel any air conditioning or fans.
If you enjoy breakfast, this is the place for you! The food is tasty and the portion sizes are perfect for finishing your plate. My personal favorite is the sweet potato pancakes. We also tried an omelette, maple bacon, potatoes with green peppers and onions, sweet potatoes with chives, and more sweet potato pancakes. Everything was delicious and our server was fantastic. I will definitely be coming back again!

I Had a awesome breakfast the chicken sausage was soo good and the waffles were perfect. This is a cozy spot with live jazz on Saturdays. . Presentation is everything and you definitely can see that the owner takes pride in every detail. I will be returning in the near future.
We came from North Carolina and weren’t expecting such delicious food from Detroit but Le Petit Dejeuner showed us different! The fried chicken was the best and the sweet potato pancakes were great! Monica, our server gave us great service! Highly recommend!
Great Cozy place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. The food was really Good!! This was my first time and I was impressed. The service was awesome. I like that it's family style. Loved it! I will be back.Food: 5/5
My first time visiting was in 2016, came back again today. The food is consistently delicious. The fried chicken and corn pancakes are delicious. Definitely recommend. Shrimp and grits were great as well.

Today food was on point service was A1 environment was great. I was a little nervous looking at the reviews but after my own experience I enjoyed it. We give it a 8.5 outta 10 stars
Food was absolutely amazing. The portions were big everything was seasoned to perfection. Monica served us and we loved her personality. We felt welcomed and left satisfied
