Le Punjab - Réserver une table

They have two seatings however arriving for the second seating which we did found ourselves waiting for a free table. I say waiting because we booked a timed reservation which would have been understandable except the host let a walk-in sit down before us. This was not on purpose but because the place is a little too... busy and confusion arises. Being busy also made the tight box like dining room a little too... noisy.The food was very good but a little too... much of one item versus a bit of variety on the plate. This could be my personal ignorance / preference but I like more than meat and rice in a dish. The plus side is that there is plenty of those two items on the plate, it's just I found myself getting tired of eating it before I finished it. Because of that I also felt like the extra bread and cost was a bad choice of mine too.A half bottle of wine, €13.00, lamb & rice, €18.00.I will return and when I do I will try again to find the perfect combination. I think if I had sat at the first seating, had a different plate with more variety, and did not order extras like bread, had a beer instead wine then I would have given this place 5 stars.

Je sais que le punjab est une chaîne de restos indien bien répandue dans la région. Néanmoins la qualité est de rigueur et ça fait plaisir d'avoir un tel restaurant près de chez soi.Les plats ont beaucoup de goût, le poulet du butter chicken est vraiment super bon.C'est ce dernier plat que je conseillerai à un néophyte de l'alimentation indienne.Le riz au safran est simple mais top.Les nan's et les sauces sont délicieuses. On voudrait vraiment tout prendre, mais on a rarement l'estomac pour tout manger !Les seuls - sont : - L'accueil et l'ambiance ne sont vraiment pas fous ... mais y'a pire !- Et surtout, les "nan" sont EXCESSIVEMENT TROP CHERS ! sérieusement... quasiment 4 euro pour UN garlic-cheese-nan... faut arrêter les gars ! Sachez le, c'est la dessus qu'ils vont vous saigner, et ils le savent : on peut pas y résister !

The Punjab in Rambouillet is the one restaurant you can rely on in this area of France to be open and to offer delicious food in a great ambience even on a Sunday or Monday night, when all the other restaurants are closed. Malik makes you feel at home from the moment you enter the restaurant. His service was very attentive and together with the excellent food you get there (3-course menu at 23 €) this made us go there for a second time the day after. Malik remembered all our preferences, which was really amazing, and looked after everything personally. We will come again when around.

Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois Et à chaque fois le service est agréable.Le cadre et Les serveurs sont chaleureux. Les plats (pour certains un peu chers) sont variés Et bons. Une bonne adresse!

Soirée entre amis, trés bon accueil, repas très Bon et service au top rien a ajouter nous y reviendrons avec plaisir
