the restaurant has absolutely loved. was recommended by a wine-owner who also made phone calls and reservations for us in real time. the dishes were fresh and tasteful without being too salty (as experienced in Germany). foie gras, duck breast, potato burl and cream brûlée were excellent. good selection of Alsatian weeping for lunch. owners and server were attentive and courteous as we speak enough French to come by; they were patient with our many asking. not sure why the lower rating, but very recommended from our perspective. not pretentious. just a good home cooked meal that we prefer over foam.
