We stayed at Les Maisons de Bricort, and dined in Le Coquillage one memorable night.Everything was superb.The setting of the hotel on a bluff above the Bay of St. Michel is spectacular.When we arrived we were escorted to a manicured lawn overlooking the bay with small benches and tables where pre-dinner drinks were offered. The sun doesn't set until about 930, so the light was beautiful.You order your meal in this area and then choose when to be seated.The dining room is small, with a curved wall of tall windows looking toward the water.The service is professional and impeccable. English is spoken.We chose a e68 tasting menu of seafood which they were happy to modify as we don't care for oys...

Le Coquiilage a été le grand final de deux semaines sur la côte bretonne et c'était plus que ce à quoi nous nous attendions, mais surtout ce que promet un établissement deux étoiles, même dans les Bodocks. Le Relais Chateau Richeux était excellent, et son restaurant est le mieux adapté. Le service était super, le cadre, avec vue sur la baie du Mont Saint-Michel, était élégant et confortable. La carte n'offrait que trois choix de menu fixe, tous aussi tentants et chers. La carte des vins était encyclopédique, également chère, mais elle proposait de bons vins abordables au verre. Ate here 5 years ago with my teenage kids and returned this time as empty nesters, joined by my parents for a 75th birthday. Had the 68 Euro menu which was beautifully cooked and presented. Rounded off with both the cheese service and the desert service.In addition they made a birthday desert for my dad as well.For the wine, the sommelier suggested a nice light Chablis which despite some costing in excess of 100 EU, was less than 60 Euro.Service impeccable, and didn't make you feel inadequate like many restaurants of this quality. All spoke perfect English which helped as well despite our best efforts.The location cannot be faulted. Its not locked in as my favorite dollar for dollar restaura...

Le restaurant est situé dans l'hôtel chic Château Richeux qui offre une vue extraordinaire sur la mer depuis son fantastique jardin. Le lieu est élégamment décoré. Le personnel est gentil et professionnel. La nourriture est tout simplement extraordinaire, comme on peut s'y attendre d'un...Michellin 2 étoiles. Le chef vous suggère quelques propositions composées de différents menus dégustation ou vous pouvez choisir « à la carte ». La carte des vins est riche mais vous pouvez en avoir une bonne à un prix raisonnable. Après le dîner, vous pourrez prendre un digestif dans un salon chaleureux. Une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle. NB : Il faut réserver très tôt. Réservez une table maintenant

Stayed at the hotel for two nights, so we have booked our dinner there. Before seated at our table we had our champagne in the salon by the fire place. Classic French seafood cooking, with the best and most delicious fresh oysters you can ask for. We have both opted for ¨By the whims of the wind and moon¨tasting menu. Everything was well presented and well prepared. The most memorable dish for us was the lobster with cocoa, chilli pepper and sherry wine. Nice dessert and cheese selection to end our evening.

Après quelques problèmes avec le service pendant l'apéritif sur la pelouse (un pauvre jeune homme devait prendre toutes les commandes des nombreux convives et se précipitait à l'intérieur sans être soutenu par ses collègues !), nous avons apprécié un bon repas avec nos deux filles. Si le service de chaque membre du personnel s'améliore, ce restaurant deviendra incontournable. Espérons que ce n'était qu'une soirée et un matin (lisez ma critique de l'hôtel pour le service du petit-déjeuner)...

This is a fine dining restaurant by the great chef Roellinger. The place is very special in an old merchant house looking at the see and in a clear day you can see Mount St Michel. The food is exquisite and the english speaking staff is very well trained. Although sea food is the main food, the agneau pre sale is very special if you like lamb. They feed at the land around Mount Saint Michel in a grass that is exposed to sea water and therefore the meat is naturally salted. Really delicious.

Je ne suis pas toujours fan des restaurants étoilés Michelin, car ils peuvent être prétentieux et en faire trop, mais le Coquillage ne l'est pas. Le personnel est détendu, amical et au-delà de professionnel. La nourriture est incroyable et l'endroit est magique. Une célébration rappelant les belles choses à vivre sur cette terre. Juste parfait ! Réservez une table maintenant

Very homy restaurant, with very good lobster and fish receipts. The home cocktails are excellent, the seasonal receipts as well. The service, including sommeliers and desert-baker are extremely friendly, professional and efficient!!!

Fantastic experience again at Chateau Richeux where the menu is exquisite and the view on the Mont st MICHEL unbelievable. The best restaurant around at a reasonable price on top of it.
