Une soirée rapidement oubliée. En tant que famille de 4 personnes, nous étions de passage dans la région et avons décidé de dîner au restaurant Le Rivoli, en se basant sur de bonnes critiques et un emplacement idéal. Après avoir consulté le menu et les plats proposés, nous avons été séduits par ce qui était proposé, ce n'était pas le restaurant banal auquel on pourrait s'attendre. La soirée s'est transformée en un fiasco en cascades, où à part l'apéritif et notre bouteille de vin, rien ne s'est déroulé correctement. By far the best restaurant around Porticcio/Pietrosella of those we have tried. Highly recommend you book in advance to secure a good table overlooking the sea. The setting is magnificent! The service is GREAT which is remarkable considering the number of tables and the fact the restaurant has three distinct zones. Ours had a view of the sea but also the kitchen: we could see the lead chef and his team working so hard, carefully and quickly. Extremely good hygiene. Our main waitress spoke excellent English and was attentive but not obsequious. Portion sizes were spot on and we enjoyed starters, mains and dessert. Thursday evening, restaurant 70% full. Waitress did not speak a word of English.The second waiter explained us the menu and specials. The drinks and first course arrived fairly soon. We ordered risotto as the second waiter's recomendation. It took 40 minutes for it be served. Risotto is served on a hot plate, rice should be creamy and food should be served while still hot. This dish was in room temperature and rice was dry. When I tried to voice my opinion the waitress who spoke English earlier pretended she did not understand a word I was saying. As I mentioned the restaurant was't that busy that evening, I don't any reason to serve such a terrible meal. It wasn't even that cheap.
Idéalement situé avec une vue incroyable, un personnel chaleureux et accueillant et une excellente cuisine. Il n'y avait pas grand-chose à ne pas aimer à propos de ce restaurant. Nous avons adoré à la fois le canard au miel et aux figues et l'agneau en plat principal, tous les deux délicieux et cuits à la perfection. C'était dommage que nous n'ayons pas eu l'opportunité de revenir lors de cette visite, mais nous voudrons certainement y retourner à l'avenir.
We just had an excellent meal here. I had the fish marmite (which is basically a bouillabaisse) and my partner the duck, followed by the lava cake. All three were absolutely perfect had we been here longer we’d definitely have come back! Great service and great view
Nous y étions en juillet, en famille avec 2 adolescents. La vue était incroyable, la terrasse directement au-dessus de la mer, le personnel très très sympathique, et la nourriture délicieuse. Après avoir découvert ce lieu, nous y sommes retournés deux fois de plus.
