We came here last year and could find almost no fault so were very disappointed when we returned, expecting the same but did not get it. It is still a stunning location right on the lovely old market square in the little rural French town of Nant with tables on the square, under the old market arches and inside. We ate on the square which it being a nice evening was busy and lively. For ambiance, you cannot beat it.The service was erratic, friendly enough when they came but a number of overlong waits. passing through the area, after looking at the reviews on this restaurant we leave confident, unfortunately our disappointment is there. When we arrived, we were set up because we had booked. We're coming to take the aperitif to that normal, everything happens quickly. Then we ask to order because soon ends our apéro , we command and the most waiting time to have the fried hamburgers of the children , we asked ketchup for the children to 4 different people , our dishes arrive for my cold husband , I was a tartare (1h to do it ) we prefer nothing to say because after an hour waiting we didn’t want to wait yet , the ketch was finished Then order desserts she forgets one, the total!! Nous avons mangé des plats bien préparés et délicieux, mais nous avons été servis presque une heure après notre arrivée. Ce temps d'attente a finalement été le sujet de discussions entre des clients patients. Les serveurs prennent tout le mécontentement des clients alors qu'il s'agit clairement d'un choix du patron de réduire le nombre de cuisiniers et de serveurs. Les serveurs font de leur mieux et sont sympathiques. Ce qui devrait être un moment agréable se transforme en un moment d'énervement général. Dommage. Les gens pressés doivent s'abstenir!

Nous avons mangé deux fois dans ce restaurant, à chaque fois avec une très longue attente et la deuxième fois une serveuse sans aucun professionnalisme qui permettait des pensées déplacées pour une serveuse! En revanche, l'autre serveuse (une jeune blonde désolé je ne connais pas son nom) était d'une gentillesse et d'une délicatesse exemplaires. Pour le repas, c'était bon et nous avons eu les cafés offerts en attendant.

Le service a été très long alors qu'il n'y avait pas beaucoup de clients. La cuisine était correcte et les serveurs étaient très aimables.
