Yes I know it seems strange to come to France and have Chinese food but when you come from a country where Chinese and other Asian foods are very much normal sometime you mis the normalities of home. So my wife and I ventured in to Le Shanghai based on just the existing Tripadvisor reviews and we were quite delighted with the result. The restuarant is indeed run by a Husband and Wife team and they seem to have it all covered. Mind you the night we were there patronage was very light. The Husband seems to speak and understand English quite well and they have a menu written in reasonably pasable English also. Food was very good but portions are smallish, so for 2 people without entree I would...

It always interests me how Chinese food varies so much from country to country. Anyway, it was lovely to enjoy something different. We enjoyed the soups, and some salt and pepper squid. The Sichuan prawns were a little disappointing. Not spicey at all. The seafood fried rice was great. The owner was very helpful and speaks several languages including English. We would go back again.

Extensive menus and very authentic. Service with a smile and if you don't speak French, don't worry, they speak good English. Go there, you'll like it.

The food tastes very good. The side orders like rice or noodles are too pricy though. Especially for the amount you get.
