"Popular with locals and tourists alike. Excellent food - including a choice of 3 steak tartare variations - specials, even a gourmet burger! Went out of their way to find another table when full. Somewhere worth eating, just out of the centre of the village."

We ate here on a Monday evening in July 2016, while staying at Le Clos d'Eima (a local chambres d'hote which was a hidden gem). All the other restaurants in the little town appear to be closed on Mondays. We saw the restaurant initially during the afternoon when it was closed but the notice board showed they would open that evening. On our return around 7.30, there were now tables laid at the edge of the boule park, pretty umbrellas and it looked very inviting. Luckily we were the first guests as it very quickly filled up over the next hour. We suggest you book in advance. We had an excellent meal from the simple burger and grill menu, perfectly cooked and presented. Waitresses very pleasant...

We ate at pretty much all the main places on our stay in Saint Cézaire-sur-Siagne and this place topped them all. It's a funny, small place that made me initially think it was just a takeaway joint, but there is plenty of seating outside in a great location. The waitresses were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. There's a real feeling about the place that it's the place to be in Saint Cezaire -for locals and tourists like us, which is proved by the fact that, each time we tried to go back, it was full - and a reservation is needed most nights of the week. Well worth visiting, there's no better restaurant in the town in my opinion.

We stayed a week in Aug 2016 with our family party of 10, and ate out twice at Le Spot. Service was excellent and the menu choice wide-ranging, with good options for the kids. The staff were very accommodating and we all enjoyed our various meals. There was a lively band playing on the first night, which added to the ambience even more. The local petanque (boules) pitch is alongside and was busy both nights, all of which created a very French atmosphere. A lovely place to visit, in a beautiful village. We had a great week.

Make a reservation! No one rushes you through dinner and there is no such thing as a second seating... so make a reservation. On Friday night if you sit on the outside patio by the Bocce Ball court, you can watch everyone show up for Bocce -- fun people watching. We ate here twice. The staff was super friendly.
