I can't evaluate this small, inconvenient family restaurant enough. if they choose a restaurant on the basis of the quality of eating, then this is the place to go. from vacationers and natives equally pleased, they can see why people come here. The foods are excellent, fresh and with true insight into taste combinations and gifts. the maitre d was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable about eating, it is primitive and the method in which it was cooked. she spoke English well and did her best to calm me and my children for the whole meal. the price of the meal was extremely reasonable and the love for detail exceptional. everything is homemade from the aperitif-Nibbles and brot, to the Sorbe...
This little restaurant has a short menu, but do not be put off. The food is gorgeous beautifully fresh and cooked to perfection. We had melon sorbet as an amuse bouche, and crusty bread with anchovy butter, plus very reasonably priced aperitifs. Moules on...crunchy sable biscuit followed by fish hake in superb beurre blanc sauce and a local fish, in herby, piquant sauce. Puddings were wonderful, rose flavoured isles flottantes and rhum baba, with high quality rum poured over the savarin cake at the table.
