Ma femme a commencé par les huîtres suivies du maigre sauvage et tout était excellent. J'ai cependant eu le melon pour commencer qui était également excellent suivi d'un coq au vin très sec. Le coq est clairement cuit sans sauce car il est encore très blanc à l'intérieur contrairement à d'autres que j'ai eu qui ont clairement trempé lentement dans une sauce au vin et sont succulents et tendres. Pour le dessert, le babar au rhum était également sec avec seulement un lointain souvenir de rhum. Le vin était délicieux et l'une de leurs bouteilles les moins chères à 40 euros mais rien à redire. As we decended down the steep hill to find a restaurant, we spotted the lovely tables outside and the charm of the restaurant. My husband has the fish which was moist and tender, while I had the coq au vin which was good but not the best. The winelist was huge and the owner helped us pick a great local wine. I would highly recommend the salmon for the start as it was delicious. Definitely, This will be worth a trip up or down that hill.
Our meal at Le Tertre was one of the best we had in the region. The menu was interesting and the food was wonderful. Wine was available by the half-bottle which suited us perfectly. The staff were charming. The ambience was relatively sophisticated but at the same time had character and buzz - partly because it was full - I was glad we had booked in advance! I would definitely return and recommend Le Tertre to others.

Un bon moment passé dans ce restaurant, surtout quand vous êtes placés au milieu de la petite cave du restaurant, des mets raffinés, patron et personnel très attentionné notamment pour une personne allergique au gluten, des vins en rapport avec la réputation de St Emillion.Vraiment la grande classe pour ce restaurant situé dans un lieu aussi touristique.
Les plats restent bons et bien présentés, le personnel ainsi que le cadre est sympathique. Petit bémol pour le patron des lieux qui s'est attablé à la table d'à côté pour manger son repas avec Madame, un peu plus de discrétion aurait été apprécié, surtout pendant le boom du service du midi, nous n'avons trouvé très professionnel.
Conseillés par l'office du tourisme, nous sommes allés dîner dans ce restaurant. Belle salle, personnel très accueillant et attentionné. La cuisine est excellente, nous nous sommes régalés du début jusqu'à la fin. Le menu est à un prix plus que correcte (34€)pour un service irréprochable digne d'un gastronomique. Parfait.
