Why only one star? Because there is no way to give it a negative star. A trip here in Feb 2016 with two adults and two children (3 and 6) was the worst dining experience I've had.There are maybe 15-20 tables at this resto and only 5 were occupied when we got there. The nice waiter (high/secondary school, perhaps) kindly invited us to sit anywhere, then promptly forgot about us. I tried to wave him down a few times but he was too busy messing up orders for other customers. Our first visit to le Tyrex after its reopening in July. Picture this, a group of four young men hanging around outside the entrance, one couple inside eating and my husband & I. We asked for a table for two and with a waive of his hand, the young waiter indicated that we should sit anywhere. The table I chose was away from the seated couple to give them some privacy but Non, it was made very clear that we should sit at a table for two and guess where this was, right behind the young couple! Nous sommes venus ici deux fois maintenant, les deux fois pour le déjeuner et les deux fois nous avons été satisfaits mais pas époustouflés par la nourriture. En fait, la nourriture elle-même n'est pas mauvaise. Les pizzas sont grandes et copieuses et parfaites pour ceux qui aiment leur pizza couverte de fromage. Le service n'était pas particulièrement rapide bien que nous étions seulement l'une des trois tables lors de nos deux visites. Nous y retournerons probablement car c'est assez pratique, mais s'il y avait un endroit meilleur - et moins cher! - nous irions là-bas à la place. A comfortable stand-by for years, the Ty Rex has undergone several changes in management. The latest incarnation seems tired already, and my first visit rather mundane.i have no idea why restauranteurs do not make their own french fries as a matter of course, but they don't, and the frozen varieties that are so beloved of this genre of eatery are generally bad.It is no exception here, and the terrible fries take away from the other part of the meal which is usually pretty good. Oh well, it is handy and friendly, and I will be back. Réservez une table maintenant

Ma femme et moi avons visité ce restaurant à l'heure du déjeuner. Nous avons demandé le plat du jour. Il s'appelait gardien de taureau. Je suppose qu'il tire son nom de la Camargue où il y a des chevaux blancs et des taureaux noirs. C'était très savoureux et j'ai tout mangé. Ma femme a trouvé qu'il y avait trop de boeuf et pas assez de légumes.

We had pizza for lunch, couldn't make up our minds which to have so chose one spicy the other Nicoise and had half each. Lovely thin base. I asked for tea and in the French way they bring a pot of hot water and a teabag. Except the water was barely warm.

The waitress was really friendly and the food was okay, I had pizza, it was enjoyable but nothing special. Overall I enjoyed the evening, especially as the waitress was so nice and there are trees growing through the roof. The prices are reasonable too.

Nous avons visité ce restaurant avec des amis et avons eu du mal avec la langue entre nous, mais nous avons persévéré et le résultat a été des rires et de la nourriture délicieuse. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant

They make excellent pizza's here. All of the food is home cooked and the service very efficient. It isn't the prettiest of places, however I always use it when I am in the area and never had a bad meal.

For what it is, it's OK. Avoid the menu other than Pizza or a salad. House wine is good. Service amateurish but friendly. Overall fine for a quick supper with family but nothing special.
