Le Villageois à Grundviller

Stumbled across this restaurant en route back to Calais. Arrived as it opened and were greeted by the owner chef. He and his wife were so incredibly hospitable and friendly. We had a tour of the kitchens and restaurant, a fabulous meal and some great conversation with him over the evening. We highly recommend the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere. Be prepared for a very authentic French restaurant with a traditional menu and decor and high quality food at a reasonable price. A real gem. Refined cuisine at correct prices. A long way is worth it. Good recommendation. Fly again. (Original view) Feines Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Da lohnt sich auch ein weiter Weg. Gute Weinempfehlung. Gerne wieder.
