I finally made it to this restaurant and I'm so glad I did! I don't know why I waited so long to try this masterpiece. The customer service was flawless - the staff knew how to engage with customers by name. The dining area was spacious and clean. The prices were a bit high, but it's all about perspective. The food was delicious, with high-quality meats and perfectly baked bread. The hoagies weren't overwhelming with oversized buns, so you could actually taste the fillings. Don't wait any longer, you need to try this place!
The sandwich was dry despite ordering it with cheese, nacho cheese, and mayo - only a small amount of mayo was visible. The taste was okay but overall dry. The Cajun fries were overcooked. The cheese steak rolls were coated in flour and looked coarse, lacking in flavor. They were placed so hot in the styrofoam container that it melted through. We didn't receive ranch dressing with our mozzarella sticks. Overall, not a great first experience at this restaurant.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time and was disappointed to see what happened today. The person working at counter 7 at 4pm was rude to customers, telling them they don't take phone orders even though there was no line. It was unacceptable behavior and I think management should be made aware of it. This kind of service is disgraceful.
This is the first time I felt like I wasted my money at a restaurant. I ordered the Motor City Lunches and curly fries, but the sandwich was drowning in sauce and lacked any salad. It felt like all I was eating was sauce. Perhaps it would have been more enjoyable when I was younger, but it was disappointing for my first experience here as an adult.

A mushy mess drowned in cheese and mayo. Good heavens… this is what people are raving about? Lefty, your bread doesn’t hold up against the globs of cheese and everything else you put on a sandwich. Has scrap everything off only to see a handful of meat.. wow. Won’t be eating here again.I can make a better steak and cheese at home. And that’s facts!
I have no issue with Lefty's, but I was disappointed with the cheesecake my son chose. We tried the Superman cheesecake and the strawberry crunch, both of which were bland and had a moist crust. They looked nice but were lacking in both taste and quality. I suggest finding a better vendor for your desserts.
One of the better cheese steaks around. Soft buns and flavorful. I always compare cheese steaks to ones I used to get in Memphis which I loved. I prefer lettuce and chopped tomatoes on my but that's not the classic which is what they make here.
Went here because the reviews were good. I had the BBQ Banger and an order of Corn Beef Hash Egg Rolls. I was not disappointed. ? The staff was also very friendly and helpful with the questions we had about the local area.

Ordered 3 subs and chili cheese fries.paid and realized wanted steak egg rolls. Paid separate for them. Guy gets our order says all set. Get home and had the subs and fries but sadly no steak egg rolls?
My husband and I loved our cheesesteaks. They were so delicious we at the entire sub! I had the big poppa, and he had sams!
