I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a bacon burger (also curly fryed) right in front of the racket it was not a good experience. the piece huh was very small for the size of the sandwiches and was just warned by the bungalow. but what is even worse was that the chicken breast was rubbery (there was no crumb to him at all, even the least crumb that remains after the sucking up) the hugging was rude. if it was pulled out a few minutes before, it would still be pink. it would still be alive and banging. Location: Livonia, at the intersection of Six Mile and Middlebelt Road - avoid coming here. I have been twice and will not be returning for a third time. The first visit was okay in terms of the food, but the employee had a bad attitude. During the second visit, I walked in and ordered a large cheese steak. What I received was a disappointing sandwich with a bun that was hard and tasted like a cheap hot dog bun. The steak and mushrooms were cold by the time I walked the 20 feet to my car to eat it. The cheese was not melted, you could still see individual slices sitting on the lukewarm steak. While I did receive my order quickly, the quality of the food was appalling. I will not be returning...
This pains me to write as really a great, hard working group running the show. Now don't get me wrong, I'm well aware of the price of beef has skyrocketed, however, you now cut the size of the cheesesteak from 12in to 10in, calling them now small and large. Bad move. You ALSO increased the price and cut the amount of meat provided with each cheesesteak. I had absolutely no problem paying $27-$28 for a couple good-sized cheesesteaks. When you picked up your bag, it was nice and heavy. You knew you got a couple really good sandwiches. Now, that bag damn near weighs as much as the sandwich..Really unfortunate. Big mistake as I won't be back.
Tried this place for the first time today through Uber eats and am extremely satisfied. My food came, was hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered the Cajun fries, egg rolls and the Buffalo fries (has the popcorn chicken on them). Everything was super tasty. I can’t wait to dig into the cheesecake I got also. Haven’t tried it yet but definitely an A for presentation. Will definitely visit this place in the future. I am usually scared with trying different places on apps like Uber eats and DoorDash but tonight I can 100% say that I am satisfied! Réservez une table maintenant
This place used to be good but has sunk to the pandemic lows of poor quality food and service. We placed an online order and they did not give us all the items we paid for ahead of time. We did not discover the error until we arrived home when it was too late and too far away to address. Plus, the ‘steak’ was over cooked (burned) and we did not get the hoagie as ordered. We paid a premium for a huge disappointment! It’s a common problem these days, but I can get that same poor quality and service anywhere at a lot lower cost.
The sandwich was dry despite ordering it with cheese, nacho cheese, and mayo - only a small amount of mayo was visible. The taste was okay but overall dry. The Cajun fries were overcooked. The cheese steak rolls were coated in flour and looked coarse, lacking in flavor. They were placed so hot in the styrofoam container that it melted through. We didn't receive ranch dressing with our mozzarella sticks. Overall, not a great first experience at this restaurant.
This is the first time I felt like I wasted my money at a restaurant. I ordered the Motor City Lunches and curly fries, but the sandwich was drowning in sauce and lacked any salad. It felt like all I was eating was sauce. Perhaps it would have been more enjoyable when I was younger, but it was disappointing for my first experience here as an adult.
A mushy mess drowned in cheese and mayo. Good heavens… this is what people are raving about? Lefty, your bread doesn’t hold up against the globs of cheese and everything else you put on a sandwich. The BBQ Banger was bangin! The Carolina Reaper cheese added just a hint of heat kept the sandwich interesting but was by no means overpowering. Could still taste and enjoy the rest of the sandwich. Staff was super friendly and even helped us with some directions when we left. Would eat here again, and again!
