It was truly amazing! I haven't been back to Springfield in 28 years. As a child, I used to visit with my family when the restaurant was on Sunshine Street. We even had a Christmas Eve tradition of getting takeout from Leong's. I have such fond memories from those days, and now being 66, those moments are even more special. I currently live in the Kansas City, MO area, and no one here can replicate the traditional Springfield Cashew Chicken! I heard about this location on the radio and while going to a trip near Springfield, I had to come check it out. Since I did have my dog with me I was only allowed to go through the drive through. The wait was pretty typical if I had gone inside which was about 10-15 mins. The friendly staff made the wait more bearable. The food was spectacular! Since this was my first time I had to order the cashew chicken with an egg roll and rice. The food was pretty fresh and crispy which is always a good sign of quality and freshness. Over all a great restaurant and one that I will stop for at any time during a trip near Springfield
The menu prices are around $14 per plate. We ordered the David?s Special: sweet sour chicken with 2 crab ragoon?s and soup. We also ordered chicken Pad Thai. The sweet sour was fresh and good. The crab Rangoon was mildly sweet (so it depends on if you like it more sweet. I do) The pad Thai was REALLY Spicy and the noodles tasted over cooked but it was still good. Overall it was great. The people there are kind and attentive.
It was my first visit to this restaurant, and I must say the food was amazing. I ordered the General Chicken, which was not only delicious but also a generous portion! The service was excellent. My husband tried the cashew chicken special, along with crab rangoon and wonton soup, all of which were delightful!

Leong's is one of a kind in all the world. Chef Wing and his Father, David offer world class Asian fusion and good old Springfield style Cashew Chicken (reminds me of my Grandma Russell's Sunday chicken dinner, after church) both at the same high class establishment. What's not to like!!!
Can't believe I waited this long to check out Leong's Asian Diner! The cashew chicken was delicious...I can see why everyone always recommends this place for it! The egg rolls and the peach sake were great, too! Perfect for lunch, reasonably priced, I'll definitely be back soon.
Springfield Cashew Chicken does not disappoint every time we come here. Service is nice and quick to fix any issues. Portion sizes are large and we always have left overs. Love getting sauce to take home. They honor their family well.
Yummy Food. I had the orange chicken. It wasn't sharp at all. I expected some spice and there was no one. It was still very good. Egg rolls were also delicious. It seems to be a peanut sauce.

Always Awesome,! Great food and great people. Will recommend to everyone. Try the sushi and as always the 'Springfield Style ' Cashew Chicken. I have never been let down here!
