Ce bar/restaurant s'adresse aux touristes des champs de bataille de la Première Guerre mondiale en provenance d'Australie et d'ailleurs (ainsi qu'aux habitants locaux). Le barman a déjà été en Australie. Les burgers sont très bons et la bière pression est excellente après une longue journée à visiter les champs de bataille. L'endroit ne peut accueillir qu'un certain nombre de membres de groupes touristiques, il est donc préférable d'organiser à l'avance un repas. Sinon, le petit personnel est débordé. C'est un endroit assez sympa pour y retourner plusieurs fois.
We came here for lunch as part of a day's tour to the Somme battlefields. It is very convenient for the WW1 museum across the road and our group had a reasonably priced lunch with decent food. Most of us tried their special (a pork dish - great value at 8.50 euros). One tip picked up from our French guide - order café gourmand and you get a selection of their desserts with your coffee - here you got two cakes and some ice cream¬!
Je cherchais un endroit pour dîner un dimanche soir et j'ai fini par hasard aux Archers. J'ai reçu un accueil chaleureux et on m'a expliqué le menu (limité) et on m'a donné de bons conseils. La nourriture était excellente et à un prix compétitif dans ce qui semblait être un lieu assez basique de l'extérieur. Bien fréquenté par les habitants, ce qui est toujours un bon signe.
Peronne was ideal for a stop after many hours in a car. We got there a bit too early for dinner time, but the chef was kind and helpful and and served us a very good meal. The restaurant is easy to find and parking possible a few steps away.

We had the best "French Burger" ever! Service was great and Guillaume was quite helpful in helping us find a hotel in the next city where we intended to spend the night. (We are on a cycling trip) Great location, right in the city center!

right next to the museum, great french food, friendly owner / manager - english translation! lovely caesar salad and burgers (nothing like a boring English burger!)
We visited on a Monday lunch time at about 12:30 and it was packed with locals and tourists alike, which is a good sign. Very tasty and good value food.
